I have a gorgeous solid maple dresser and mirror, made by King Colonial, that I have painted white, distressed and stained. It is a very solid piece of furniture, and the drawers are dovetailed and all work perfectly. The original handles were not very flattering, so I bought some new vintage handles for it.
